HUNTINGTON — At the start of a training on Nov. 13, Deputy Chief John McVeigh of the Huntington Fire Department called a special association meeting for a vote to support the Huntington Food Pantry with a gift of $1,000.
HUNTINGTON — After all of the 272 bowls created for the “Empty Bowls” fundraiser for the Huntington Food Pantry sold, the goal of $10,000 was reached, according to Dale Rogers, proprietor of the Gray Catbird Pottery & Art Studio.
WESTFIELD — After public hearings in front of the Planning Board and City Council and a review by the License Committee, the council voted 7-4 on Nov. 6 to permit the application by Jimbob Aviation for a gas storage license for 20,000 gallons of Jet A fuel outside of their hangar at Westfield Barnes Airport.
