LUDLOW — The Ludlow Government Charter Committee presented early recommendations for changes in the town’s charter at a public forum on June 17. , but so far, 2024 has been the best year of my life. I have experienced so many work-related accomplishments.
LONGMEADOW — Longmeadow’s Planning and Select boards met on June 5 to review a draft of the town’s Long Range Plan, a document often known as a master plan, which lays out a municipality’s goals and targets for the next five to 10 years.
SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield City Council approved all 14 projects proposed for funding by the Community Preservation Committee, including the rehabilitation of several vacant buildings in the city.
SPRINGFIELD — Representatives from the federal Department of Justice, the Springfield Police Department and the community met online on June 12 to develop concepts that will become part of the Police Department’s Community engagement plan. The engagement plan was a requirement of the settlement agreement reached between the federal government and the Police Department in August 2022.
