LONGMEADOW — Longmeadow will conduct a fall Town Meeting on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Longmeadow High School gymnasium. There are 29 articles on the warrant. Several of them seek funding, or additional funding, for large projects. Others amend, remove or add to the town’s bylaws.
EAST LONGMEADOW — Members of the former St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and East Longmeadow first responders gathered on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the fire station to celebrate the congregation’s $93,572 donation to nonprofit veteran support organization Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
With the Nov. 5 election in a few days, towns and residents are in the final stages of preparing for the upcoming state and presidential election.

WESTFIELD — The Westfield Puerto Rican Association recently raised the flag of Puerto Rico at City Hall and recognized two city residents in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 annually.
