MONSON — The Monson annual Town Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on May 13 at Granite Valley School, located at 21 Thompson St. A Special Town Meeting will also take place at this time and location.
AGAWAM — After months of delays, North Street reopened on April 26. The culvert repair project that closed the road had its completion date shifted from last December to mid-April due to broken machinery at a Vermont plant producing construction materials, and the asphalt production plants’ mandatory winter break.
“The town certainly, I’m sure, is happy it’s done,” said North Street resident and City Councilor Dino Mercadante. “It looks really nice. It is built to the degree it can be built for safety.”

LUDLOW — When Ludlow conducts its spring Town Meeting on Monday, May 13, voters will be asked to fund capital projects, the beginnings of a park and a comprehensive project to improve and re-envision the streets in one area of town. They will also have the chance to weigh in on zoning changes to several properties.
