LONGMEADOW — Electric vehicles owners can now top up on the go in Longmeadow. Electric vehicle charging stations are now open to the public in four locations around town — the DPW, Longmeadow Adult Community Center, Longmeadow High School and Wolf Swamp Athletic Fields.
SOUTHWICK — After the Select Board adopted the job description it will use to vet candidates to replace retiring Police Chief Robert Landis, the board on Jan. 8 decided against seeking help choosing the next chief, despite board member Jason Perron’s request to use an outside “oral board.”
LUDLOW — Ludlow received its share of $100 million in infrastructure funding generated by the “Fair Share Amendment.”
LUDLOW — During the Jan. 9 School Committee meeting, Superintendent Frank Tiano gave an updated report on the fiscal year 2025 budget that included the revelation that the district would require less money than anticipated to maintain level services, but still more than it anticipates receiving.
MONSON — The Monson Community Preservation Committee is accepting applications for Community Preservation Act funding now until Feb. 28.
