Town Council meets with new veterans service head
WEST SPRINGFIELD — During its meeting on Nov. 4, the Town Council met with Veterans Services Director Marc Massey to discuss the department since he took over a few months ago.
Agawam educators support AHS paraprofessional
AGAWAM – Agawam educators gathered in the gym at the high school on Nov. 4 to show their support for AHS paraprofessional Sonya Johnson by having a photo taken of themselves wearing “Sonya Strong” T-shirts. The photo was sent to Johnson, who is battling cancer, along with the poster that was signed by everyone in the photo.

WESTFIELD — Elizabeth Hanechak of Russell, a Life Scout with Troop 124 in Westfield, kicked off an Eagle Scout community service project over the weekend, collecting electronic waste for e-cycling from over 200 Westfield residents at City Hall.
