Fall festivities to benefit the community’s most vulnerable

ENFIELD — Executive Director Maya Nicole Matthews of Enfield Loaves and Fishes has been elected the president of Opera House Players, a nonprofit volunteer-based community theater group based out of Enfield.

WILBRAHAM — Minnechaug Regional High School student and Wilbraham resident Collin Purcell was one of 100 student divers named All-American for high school level boys one meter diving by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association of America.
LONGMEADOW — Several residents came to the defense of Peter Benton, a resident who said his “character came into question” at the Aug. 12 Select Board meeting, during which he was under consideration as a candidate for the Board of Registrars.
