BELCHERTOWN — The town of Belchertown launched its new and improved website, inviting all residents to explore it and view its new features. Vice Chair Ed Comeau of the Belchertown Communications Committee said, “The new site officially launched on July 10 and it has a really fresh look to it, but more importantly, it is much easier to update the information on it on the backend.”

PALMER — The Palmer Town Council met to discuss several key issues impacting the community on July 8. One of the primary topics was Resolution 2025-01, which proposed using American Rescue Plan Act funds to purchase a 2025 Western Star 10-wheeled dump/plow truck for the DPW for $349,289.

LUDLOW — Residents wanting to use Veteran’s Memorial Park engaged in a contentious conversation with the Board of Selectmen at its July 9 meeting. The group had staged the Color Ludlow with Love event at the park in 2023 and sought to do so again on Sept. 14.
